    Description

    A wonderful, heavy solid brass door knocker produced by Harvin or Virginia Metalcrafters. Harvin was purchased by VM and they continued to use the molds.  This bears the Harvin mark and is numbered 4022. Both companies are now gone and their handmade quality items are becoming harder to find.  US made with lovely historic detail.  This one from the Newport series.  Dimensions noted are approximate.  Excellent used condition: front has wonderful aged and weathered patina.
