Built of heat formed High Density Polyethylene, this armor provides rugged protection in full contact rattan sword fighting combat.   The part that covers the knees is a solid structure closed at both sides with heavy copper belt rivets and burrs and provides a deep pocket for excellent protection. All edges have been heat treated to give a smooth and safe rounding. Straps are secured with copper rivets and burrs and are made of a serious grade of heavy weight leather for long useful wear.  High quality  buckles.   Failures are rare & easy to fix. Fight all day. It is designed for speedy armoring up and down. Although light in weight, these arms are nearly indestructible and extraordinarily tough. Although some areas ask that exposed plastic be covered in tournaments, this armor exceeds all known world standards for protection.
Two shovel greave assemblies are included, one for each leg.
Rust proof.  Mildew free.  Easy to clean.

Handling time:
We generally ship in just a few days but we also attend a large event called The Pennsic War takes us away from the workshop for several weeks every July/August.  We continue to accept orders while we are gone and will send things out within a few days of returning home.  Watch for the away message and note the handling time.  Please let us know if you are in urgent need by a specific date and we'll do our very best to accommodate your schedule.
