DD51 type diesel locomotive is JNR for the purpose of promoting smokeless trunk lines. Is a diesel locomotive manufactured from 1962 (Showa 37) to 1978 (Showa 53).
The model vehicles are Units 1179 and 1186 belonging to the Goto General Vehicle Office.
In the past, it was used as a traction machine for the sleeper limited express "Izumo" and "Twilight Express", but now it is engaged in traction and replacement work of temporary trains.
