OGS-3D standard version is a rechargeable short-wave automatic tuner. It is suitable for all radio stations without built-in antenna tuning such as 817, 705, 891, 725, 725A. Ultra-wide working voltage makes it dwarf all power supplies. Menu adjustment function is added. You can set QRP mode or QRO mode directly in the menu, and one antenna tuner is suitable for 1W low-power radio stations/100W radio stations. It can be used without a special control line for radio station.

Q1: Does this antenna tuner fit my 817 and 891 radio stations?
A1: Yes. For 817 or other radio stations with output power less than 5W, you can move toggle switch to the left side, enter system menu in about one second, enter Min PWR menu, and then quickly move the button to the left and right to change the value to 1-3, and you can set it to QRP mode. After setting, move the button down, and it will exit the system menu and return to the main interface in about one second.
For 891 or other high-power radio with output greater than 10W, you can move the button to the left side to enter the menu in one second, and set tuning power value to 5-10, which is the QRO high-power mode.
Q2: Antenna tuner's screen will go off after a period of time, how to change it to always display?
A2: The built-in battery version will automatically turn off the screen to save power when there is no RF signal input for ten seconds by default. You can move the button to the left to enter main menu in one second. Move the button down to jump to Serdel, and quickly move the button to the left and right to change the value. Numeric value represents seconds, and the number 0 means no automatic screen shutdown.
Q3: Antenna tuner has been tuned, but it will automatically adjust when transmitting again, and it cannot be used normally.
A3: This is that the current antenna feed system has exceeded the technical specifications of the antenna tuner itself. The original standing wave of antenna is greater than four, or the original wave of the antenna is lower than 1.5, and the antenna itself has self-resonated. Or for example, in the 160m band, the current antenna transmitting oscillator is only 5 meters, or the current transmitting oscillator is 40 meters long, but you want to use it at 10m waves. Under this condition, only the tuning threshold can be relaxed. Increase the default working standing wave gate value of 1.5. Move the button to the left to enter the menu, move the button down quickly to jump to Min SWR xx, move the button to the left and right to set the value to 1.8-2.0.
Q4: What is the difference between the professional version and the standard version?
A4: In addition to the above functions, the professional version can adjust all the internal parameters of the antenna in the factory mode.
1.To calibrate power, enter menu POW CAL. Antenna end is connected in series with a power meter and a dummy load. When the radio is transmitting, record the power indicated by the power meter and the value of the power displayed on the antenna, and move the button to the left and right to input the difference between the numbers. The positive and negative numbers represent the difference between the above two power values. Make the display value of the antenna power and the display of the power meter consistent.
2.Adjust standing wave effect accuracy. A power standing wave meter and a dummy load are connected in series on the antenna end of antenna, and enter SWR CAL. When the radio is transmtting, record the number displayed by the power standing wave meter, and move the button to the left and right to adjust the difference between the input power standing wave meter and the standing wave displayed by the antenna, until exactly the same.
