This nut collector works so well I couldn't believe it. Video is of the first time my husband used it. Picks up large fresh walnuts and even tiny ones that were starting to decay. Stainless steel wire seems sturdy but I would buy one of these every other year (when the walnuts are in bloom) if I had to. Would be better if the handle locked in place. Had to tighten every once in awhile during use. Will probably end up putting a screw in to lock it.
I use the product to gather pecans but if you've never use done of these here are some thing you need to know: not good to use in tall, thick grass you have to you in different directions sometimes to pick up the nut That being said it's a very sturdy product, gather a lot at one time, and gets the job done.It is wonderful. I picked up about 30 pecans before I emptied the picker.
We bought a home with numerous Sweetgum trees. After days of raking and backbreaking work trying to remove the Sweetgum fruits from the yard, I went to Ebay for a solution. I was very skeptical, but this thing works as described. Well worth the money!
