The New Lurker SWL Antenna from antenna expert Lowbander, who has over 52 years of ham radio antenna building experience. It is an all band antenna designed for SWLs who have limited space and experience building antennas.
The Lurker  is designed for any portable or base station SW receiver. Grundig, Sangean, Tecsun, Eton, Sony and other sw radios that have built in telescoping rod antennas are ideal radios for the Lurker. How can you expect a short telescoping rod to hear weak signals??
The Lurker is the answer!
It comes ready to Stretch and Play! Attach to supports as high as possible and begin the fun. It has 30’ of longwire antenna along with a 25’ lead wire resulting in a total of 55’ of signal capture area. The antenna and lead wire are all one piece of wire, a high quality copper stranded wire ( Color of wire insulation may vary).
So, there’s little chance of corrosion or bad connections later on. The 55’ of wire will give swls who depend on their built in short telescoping rod antenna a huge boost in reception.
The alligator clip on the end of the lead wire can just be clipped on the built in rod antenna without worrying about special plugs or connections to the radio, after you bring the wire in thru a window or door. If your radio has a terminal connection on the back, the lead wire can be attached with the alligator clip to the high Z or high impedance terminal.
The Lurker can be installed horizontally or sloped downward. Like any antenna, install it as high as possible for best performance. The perfect set up is a nail or eye bolt in a window sill and the wire is then stretched outward.
It can be even hung from a high support in the vertical position if you have limited yard space such as a typical apartment building.
It can even be bent on the bottom end of the antenna to get it fit in small areas. AND…Yes, it could be hung off your patio in an apartment. A hole in the end insulator allows users to tie off the end with a piece of wire, or nylon string, or rope to any suitable support. The Lurker can even be used indoors in attics or stretched out on inside walls of dwellings.
This antenna works great with Realistic/Radio Shack receivers or any other sw radio.
There's even a short piece of stiff wire(orange wire in photo) attached to the end of  insulator for a quick deployment and quick start up.
An  instruction sheet will be included.
