    . Silver Morgan dollars spent decades circulating at a time before the US abandoned
    silver
    and gold coinage for a pure fiat (paper) money system. The condition of these coins is a bit rough, but they are certainly in far better shape than the paper dollar which has been mauled by decades of inflation.
    The "Morgan" design silver dollars was minted from 1878 to 1904, and again in 1921. The coins' are called by the name of the designer - George Morgan. The obverse features a profile of a woman crowned with Liberty and the reverse displays an eagle with wings spread.
