in refurbished used cases.  Tested, Hold a Great Charge, Like New. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.  The AC battery charger/adapter is required.  These will work like new and lost a LONG time.  They are just not pretty - but you will never see them inside the LeapPad.
We love these LeapPad 2s.  Our kids have had a bunch of them.
2 battery packs only.  Nothing else included.  LeapPad 2 shown for example only - does not come with a LeapPad 2.
These batteries typically fully charge in 3-4 hours.  I replaced the original rechargeable batteries (took out the "guts") with more powerful rechargeable batteries that will last longer than the factory ones!  You must have the rechargeable batteries in the used casings in order for the AC charger/adapter to work.  The white casing contains the recharging connections from the casings directly to the LeapPad battery bay.  The casings also have internal regulators to prevent overcharge.  You can put regular rechargeable batteries in the LeapPad 2 but you have to take them out to charge them every time they die.  If you have the white battery packs, you can just plug the LeapPad 2 into a wall outlet with the AC charger/adapter.   The ends are ground down and the casings show where I cracked them to replace the batteries.  There is a steep learning curve so I suggest not trying this on your own.
These battery packs are conveniently left right in the LeapPad 2 while recharging.  All you have to do is plug the charging cord into the charging slot on the LeapPad 2 and it recharges without having to mess around taking the battery covers off or removing batteries.  This is very convenient when you have a really small youngster who would have trouble figuring out how to change batteries or getting those pesky battery covers off the back.
Warning:  You can put regular recharable batteries in your LeapPad but you will not be able to charge the batteries while they are still inside the LeapPad.  These battery packs have regulators built in to avoid overheat and overcharge.  They also connect to the recharge terminals that connect to the recharge port.  Regular rechargeable batteries do not connect to the recharge port.
