This a specialized CUSTOM "exact fit" ADAPTER for those who own Rennstand jack stands or who intend to purchase them. NO RENNSTAND OR ANY OTHER JACK STAND IS INCLUDED WITH THIS ADAPTER.
Toyota uses two different patterns of "pinch weld" jacking points for their cars and crossover utility vehicles
.  The most common pattern is the "knife edge" thin vertical flange that consist of two vertical edges spot welded together.  The other is the less common "rounded" pattern.
This adapter is for the standing seam "knife edge" pattern.
If the top of your scissors jack consists of two unequal sized contact points with the wider one placed toward the inner part of the body, this adapter will provide a
perfect fit.
Using the wrong jack or pinch weld adapter will bend and damage the
"knife edge"
pinch weld.  The weight of the car with

pinch welds should correctly be supported by the reinforced pad behind the pinch weld, NOT by the
'knife edge."
The custom made adapter uses the best available materials for this application without regard to cost.
The "pinch weld" adapter is fabricated from a custom fine threaded hardened forged steel post threaded into  aerospace grade 6061-T651 aluminum disk flange and epoxy bonded and screwed into a machined slotted white oak contact block   White oak was chosen for durability and strength.  It was a premium material used on traditional truck beds until it became too expensive.  The USS Constitution, still the oldest commissioned ship in the US Navy has proven the durability of white oak that lasts for centuries.  The wood is sealed in a thick coat of marine grade spar varnish for extra durability.
The photos show this adapter used on a Generation 3 2012 Prius v with a SafeJack Rennstand.
It will, however, fit all Toyota "knife edge" pinch weld vehicles."
The pinch weld adapter is designed so the strong point on the inner side of the pinch weld is supported as the OEM scissors jack is designed to do, NOT on the "knife edge" of the pinch weld that could be damaged and bent.
