As noted above, this auction is for an UNOPENED Tube of brilliant uncirculated 5 oz Silver Libertads.
Five coins per tube and ungraded, unsorted, unopened from the mint!
Tape is placed over the tops of the tubes to prevent from opening in transit. There is also mint tape applied by the Mexican Mint. We do not remove this tape and the tube is unopened from the mint.
Please note- photographs are for reference and the numbers on the mint tape will vary.
These are brilliant uncirculated, not proof quality so there may be minor imperfections from the mint. There are no returns or exchanges on this or other bullion items.
Regarded as one of the finest Sovereign Mint bullion rounds in the world, the Silver Libertad first went into production in 1982 and is fabricated by the oldest mint in North America, Mexico City Mint (Casa de Moneda de México)
Libertads are kept to very low mintages, especially for world mint sovereigns and even lower numbers of these mintages are imported into the United States for sale.
This .999 Fine Silver Bullion coin commemorates Mexican Independence and depicts the lady of Winged Victory holding broken chains of bondage and raising a laurel wreath high in triumphant celebration of freedom. Purity, content, mintage year and mint mark are also stamped on the reverse.
The obverse depicts the Mexican Coat of Arms with a mighty eagle perched atop a cactus, engaged in battle with an obstinate serpent.
