Two Classic Designs, One Terrific Coin!
Obverse: The obverse of this coin features the "Walking Liberty" design from the half dollar circulated in the United States between 1916 and 1947. Adolph A. Weinman designed this flag-draped image of Liberty.
Reverse: The reverse designer, the now-retired 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, John Mercanti, has designed this Heraldic Eagle image. The eagle is depicted behind the Union shield with an inverted triangular field of stars overhead. The design is set to be replaced in mid-2021.
Proof Quality
Proof coins are struck with extra care and handling. The process involves multiple strikes using specially polished dies and coin blanks which produces the coveted contrasting finish. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion.
