I am pleased to present only the 2nd Maple Leaf series to be struck in Winnipeg, marked by the W mint mark on the reverse.  In order to strike Maple Leafs away from the “Mother” Mint, which is Ottawa, permission must be granted to strike a variation of any Maple Leaf at Winnipeg.  So here we have a Tailored Specimen that has a smooth burnished finish, similar to the U.S. Silver Eagle burnished strike.
Mintage is just 8,000 coins and like the Eagle, is a huge hit!  Coin has been graded a perfect SP70 with the First Releases pedigree by NGC and is housed in a retro black core.  Maple Leaf in one ounce of .9999 Fine Silver.
