for 2021 is now available !! This coin contains a full ounce of fine silver and remains one of the most popular coins in the Royal Mint showcase. The 2021 design features Philip Nathan’s breathtaking portrait of Britannia.
With the release of 2021 British Silver Britannias, the Royal Mint of England debuts four individual security features that are designed to bring the security of the Britannia Series into the 21st century. These include a micro-text inscription within the design rim that reads, in Latin, Decus Et Tutamen and tincture lines within the stripes of the Union Jack. The more detailed security features include a background surface animation and latent security feature. When you adjust the angle of viewing, the surface animation imitates the movement of ocean waves while the latent security feature switches from a padlock to a trident.
