The Bald Eagle is the third coin in the Geiger Mint's brand new "World's Wildlife" series, which regularly produces high-quality silver coins. The Giraffe, the first coin in the collection, was also launched as an SD Bullion Exclusive in 2019 and the Whale, the second coin, was launched as an SD Bullion Exclusive in 2020. This series is similar to the Perth Mint series in that each coin is restricted in mintage and the design changes every year. These Silver Bald Eagle Coins have a worldwide mintage limit of just 30,000 coins.
Geiger uses 1 troy ounce of.9999 pure silver to create the Bald Eagle coin. In addition, each coin will be individually encapsulated in a protective hard plastic shell. The coin has a face value of 20 francs and is sponsored by the Congolese government.
The Design
On the reverse, a magnificent bald eagle soars over a range of mountains. The coin's bottom border features the title of the series, World's Wildlife. The top half of the coin bears the inscription "The Bald Eagle."
The reverse is identical to the reverses of all other World's Wildlife coins. A leopard's face is portrayed in the center of the reverse, with a tusk to the left and a spear to the right. There are also three signs with the words "JUSTICE," "PAIX," and "TRAVAIL," which stand for "Justice," "Peace," and "Labor," respectively. The numbers "20" and "21" are minted on either side of the pattern, along with the words  "1 oz Ag 999.9" below. The words “REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO” & “20 FRANCS”." are engraved across the coin's circumference.
