The Royal Canadian Mint's Moments to Hold series is a celebration of the nation's heritage. The series will include four coins released throughout 2021, the first of which is this coin honoring the 100th Anniversary of the Arms of Canada. The Arms, formally known as the Armorial Bearings of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Canada, has been modified three times since its introduction in 1921. Imagery on the coin is based upon the current generation of the Arms, which was created Cathy Bursey-Sabourin, Fraser Herald at the Canadian Heraldic Authority, and officially adopted in 1994. The coin is minted with a dramatic modified specimen finish, which features mirrored design elements contrasted against satin-like field areas.
The Arms of Canada coin is struck from 1/4 Troy oz. of .9999 fine silver.
The coin is the first release of the 2021 Canadian Moments to Hold series.
The face value coin measures 27 mm in diameter.
The coin will arrive in its original Mint packaging.
Mintage is limited to 100,000 coins.
Stunning Commemorative Design
Obverse: The obverse effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was designed by award-winning Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt in 2003. Inscribed "ELIZABETH II" and "D. G. REGINA."
Reverse: The reverse features a beautifully detailed representation of the Arms of Canada, flanked by the anniversary dates "1921" and "2021." Inscribed "CANADA" and "5 DOLLARS."

Purchases of Bullion Items may not be returned or cancelled for any reason, at any time, but in the event of a manufacturer's defect; it may be exchanged for the same item, within the Company's sole discretion, if otherwise available. In addition to Bullion Items, there are other items from time to time which may not be returned or cancelled for any reason. You are entitled to return any non-bullion item purchased from Company within 30 days of the invoice date and receive a full refund of the purchase price, conditioned upon the following: Products cannot be altered, and coins must be in their original coin capsules, and original packaging, complete and in saleable condition, as a condition of any return. If the product has been altered, is not in its original coin capsule, or is otherwise in an unsaleable condition, the product will not be accepted for return or exchange. All documents and bonus items included with the product must also be returned. If the product is not returned with all original packaging and bonus items, is incomplete, or is returned after the 30-day return period, the Company reserves the right not to accept the return or to accept the return subject to a 20% restocking fee, in the Company's sole discretion. All returns with a purchase price over 0 must include a Return Authorization Number. This number can be obtained from our Customer Service Department by calling toll-free at 1-800-362-9004 during Customer Service hours.
Refunds of non-bullion items are for the cost of product only; shipping and handling charges are not refundable, unless otherwise stated by Company.
