I am pleased to offer the very first Disney legal tender coin struck by the New Zealand Mint featuring Mickey Mouse in his movie picture debut from the 1928 feature, "Steamboat Willie".  The first Disney movie ever made.  We have here a scene of that iconic movie with Mickey steering the boat and whistling a tune! This coin is the proof version in 1 Oz of .999 Fine Silver and graded a perfect PF70 Ultra Cameo by NGC with the Early Releases pedigree.
Coin is in mint fresh condition and most impressive in a proof strike!
Coin is struck by the New Zealand Mint for the South Pacific island nation of Niue.  It is very common for a small country to allow their legal tender to be struck at various world Mints including The Perth Mint, Mayer Mint (Germany), The Royal Mint, and with the Disney franchise...the New Zealand Mint.
