I am pleased to present the 2010 West Point minted Proof Silver Eagle with the highly coveted Mercanti-Reagan label artwork and signature of John Mercanti.  Coin has been graded by NGC as a perfect PF70 Ultra Cameo.  This label was designed from a bust that John Mercanti had sculpted in honor of Ronald Reagan, who signed the Liberty Coin Act in 1985, authorizing the start of the Silver Eagle program.  In addition, John Mercanti was very close to Ronald Reagan personally.  Taken from an Andy Warhol design motif, the 4 Reagan bust was cast, and the design is available on this coins' label to go along with the signature of John Mercanti.
