Description:
This sturdy 9-11 oz leather belt is the same premium product that we've made for hundreds within Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and Renaissance Faire participants over several decades. This belt measures 1.5" wide and is your choice in length so that it can be knotted in Half Windsor/SCA fashion. Built for good presentation, long life, and with serious quality, it will exceed your expectations.
Options:
Color:
Black, Dark Brown, Burgundy latigo or Chestnut bridle drum dyed leather. Long Wear, Excellent Body.
Length:
This means the OVERALL LENGTH from the fastening point for the hardware to the very end of the belt.  For a good fit it's important that this is more than your girth because you want to have some length past the tip for it to thread under the buckle or ring though to the other side.  It's worth measuring yourself.  If in doubt order longer than you need so that you can trim to fit.
Again, this is NOT your modern belt size.
Finished end:
Square cut, diagonal cut, round, oval, or English V. We'll trim the end with a diagonal cut unless you tell us otherwise.
Width:
This belt is 1.5 inches wide. If you'd prefer something
else,

Hardware:
This belt is secured back upon itself with Chicago Screws.  We have both Solid Brass (the default choice) and Nickle Plated Solid Brass for you to choose from.  The slot formed is sufficient for a 2" diameter O ring or standard trophy buckle.
Pin Slot:
A standard buckle uses a pin to secure it into the holes.  In order to mount a buckle onto a belt, a pin slot must be cut.  We CAN do so for you, but the default option is NO PIN SLOT which works perfectly for mounting Trophy buckles.
Holes::
There are options for how to place holes in your belt.
1) No holes (this is the default choice if we do not hear otherwise).
2) All holes - this means that we will punch the entire length of the belt with holes with a 1" spacing.
3) A range of holes - if you provide specific
instructions
, we are happy to do as you say.
We encourage you to punch your own holes!  It's much easier to get fit right when the hardware is on the belt and the belt is on your body.  Once holes are punched, there is no unpunching them.

Handling time:
We generally ship in just a few days, but we also attend a large event called The Pennsic War that takes us away from the workshop for several weeks every July/August. We continue to accept orders while we are gone and will send orders out within a few days of returning home. Watch for the away message and note the handling time. Please let us know if you are in urgent need by a specific date and we'll do our very best to accommodate your schedule.
